100% issue resolved: this should fix it. mines still work wirh no errors, follow the steps,
go to the admin page: 192.168.0.1
under wifi settings:
disable the 2.4 and 5G sync. apply setings.
and then, on 5G page select channel 44hz , apply setings.
2.4G page: channel: keep it on 20hz also i changed the AUTO channel to 11, apply setings.
remove all the accesories from HOMEKIT,
RESET ROUTER.
ADD a new HOMEKIT, add homepods first!
and add the rest of your devices.
this should fix it. mines still work wirh no errors.
i found some info,
some devices connect with 2.4(like smart bulb)
some others 5G(like homepod)

Thanks for your help with this @deniz but I've followed these steps line by line and still not working for me.
Hello Sky, are you going to follow up on your previous assurances that your engineers are working on this?
Will you allow customers under contract to exit without penalty becuase I need a provider that is compatable with my 3 HomePods?

@CPG15 that is strange, someone just did same thing and worked for them. mines are prefectly fine since i did it , sorry mate.

NEW UPDATE, use an extender and set them up with the extender.
16 Feb 2024 09:50 AM
@deniz looks like i celebrated too early! So my homepod will now connect back to the wifi after your suggestions, however it still wont respond. i didnt initially activate it with a 'hey siri' request when i tried your changes yesterday. Then yesterday evening when i got home i attempted to use it and i got the "wifi not connected" response. Any ideas?!

@lango7 hi mate, in this case, use an extender and set them up with the extender.
delete the pods.
connect your phone to the WIFI extender and then add homepods.
this should 100% fix it. only pods will be connected to the wifi extender so no mix up with the other devices.
others will be on the main router.
looks like, eventhough disabling the 2.4 5g sync, SKY router doesnt apply the settings.
try that and let me know. ( i am a consumer like you but trying to find a solution)

i unfortunatly dont have an extender and i guess sky wont send one either. this is a complete joke now. contract terminated for m, ill go to a provider that will actually help us!

@lango7 they are faily cheap mate around £20.00. get one from amazon or something. i use NETGEAR Brand.
many people fixed their issue with an extender.
also this is not only with SKY. many other internet providers have same problem with the pods.

Is there any solution to this problem? It started on my homepod minis yesterday afternoon.

Also having the same issue. It seems like Sky broke HomePod connectivity in 7.03.0400.R and they are not ready to rollout the next version to everyone yet.
Would appreciate they would provide steps how to mitigate the issue or at least share steps to upgrade the router manually without waiting for the automatic rollout.

My homepod mini stopped working yesterday. I've tried everything listed above. Any news from sky support?

I have this exact issue. My Homepod was within warranty so i had it replaced, then i had my router switched out by Sky and i still have this issue.
What's the fix for this? Sounds like its a Sky issue?
