I had it working for me 2 days in a row; stopped working again now! WE ALL NEED TO REPORT THIS TO OFCOM, IT'S THE ONLY WAY SKY ARE GOING TO PAY ATTENTION! They unfit to be a broadband provider!

On admin page,
disable the 2.4 and 5G sync.
and then, on 5G page select channel 44hz
2.4G page: channel: keep it on 20hz
i found some info,
some devices connect with 2.4(like smart bulb)
some others 5G(like homepod)
i am testing it mine now,
i deleted home as well. Setup a new home on homekit. And re added every single device back again! All works now. Usually it fails in a short timeframe, if it fails in 2 days then this is definitely sky issue . As BTinterrnet has an additional setting for this 2.4g and 5g disable anable etc.
bt has fixed their one.
if mine fails again then i will switch to BTinernet

So that for 2.4ghz is for the smart devices but not applicable for the HomePod. In fact 2.4ghz has less bandwidth so can't carry as much data for streaming across the WiFi network. I had a sky engineer come round and he wasn't able to solve it. It's def firmware!

You can notify Ofcom here, as I've just done. This doesn't directly help remedy the problem, but at least Ofcom (the regulator) will be made aware. I encourage everyone to please submit an issue. Take 3 minutes. (See the only form down the page)

I have read the entire thread and can confirm it's the same issue for me. Latest Sky Hub firmware... ...the one ending ...400.R.
After many factory resets on all 5 HomePod Mini's, not a sniff of a connection when setting up. All say "unable to join wi-fi" on every setup attempt.
Performed a test setup using my iPhone, over my wife's iPhone hotspot (mobile data) and all 5 HomePod mini's make instant connection and setup completely.
It was funny to see the contrast, all 5 HomePods "broken", all 5 HomePods "fixed".
It feels the only real solution is for Sky to update the Sky Hub firmware and the sticking plaster fix is to buy a range extender.
personally, I came out of contract a month ago and have started the process of switching provider. My view is I'm paying for Ultrafast and shouldn't have part of my network capacity reduced over a range extender, especially my most used part.
Issue first highlight 1/4 of a year ago now and no sign of a fix. In a weird way I feel lucky that my Sky Hub only updated its firmware a week or so ago, as I wouldn't have had this thread to turn to and wasted only one weekend.
