has anything happened with this yet?
I have two homepods which can't connect to sky router.
Taken them to a friends hoem and they connect straight away it is an issue with the sky router.
Please sort or send me detailed steps to sort please.

Has Sky started to roll out a firmware update? Mine is still on version 7.03.0400.R and HomePod mini is still not able to connect to Wi-Fi.

Another user here. I have 3 HomePods out of action. I thought one had broken but the other two Mini's have stopped connecting these last few weeks. Glad I found this thread.
Sky you need to be on this.

Ours minis stopped working using WIFI in early December, then last week started working again until Monday night when I switched off the router for a few minutes due to poor speed, since then minis not working again?

A few posts ago I was happy that they all reconnected so I had a couple of weeks of them working. Yesterday they all stopped again.
What on earth.

@mixel I have exactly the same issue. My HomePods were ok for a couple of weeks and tonight they all stopped working again!

My HomePod just connected to the Wi-Fi for the first time after a month. It seems to be stable now, but looking at everyone's posts, I'm expecting connection to drop anytime.

I'm still not able to connect my HomePod - SKY is anyone looking into this?

Hi, I am having the same issues with both my homepods. I called Apple and this has been confirmed to be an issue with the Sky Router. Please can we get an update in how to fix this. Thanks

Ours worked for a while, for about a week, but minis stopped again!
Also noticed now how poor the signal coming into the house is, we should be getting plus 400 on our line but mostly is way below 80 most days. I keep resetting it every few days, speed improves for a while then very slow again? Very odd as over last few years no issues? So is this all down to software change? Or are routers on way out?

I had the same "Unable to join Wi-Fi" issue with all 3 HomePod Minis I had - but NOW RESOLVED (router issue) - please read...
Have SKY Hub 4.2 - suddenly all 3 HomePod Minis started showing wifi issue - usually these kind of issues get resolved automatically or after a reboot but this time it wasn't. My original 2 HomePods were fine along with all other wifi devices I have at home - it's only the HomePod Minis that had Wi-Fi connection problem; so naturally you’d think it's the HomePod Mini that has the problem. Done SO MUCH troubleshooting with the HomePods including:
but when tried to setup it always showed "Unable to join Wi-Fi" message and happened with all 3 HomeMod Minis, spent hours with Apple and they couldn't figure out either. I've been using HomePods since the original HomePod came out in 2018 - never had this consistent "Unable to join Wi-Fi" issue.
I then came across this thread and called SKY up, the agent said she could see some issues with the WiFi of the router from her end and she needs to send a replacement which arrived today and now all works fine - setup was finally successful.
Note: I had two SKY Hub 4.2 and when I was troubleshooting I tried both hubs, reset both, tried with different SSID, password etc - you name it I tried everything in the last 4 days but nothing worked. But please note both the Hubs I had was on Firmware 7.03.0400.R but the new one which arrived today currently has 7.03.0100.R - which worked/works fine with the HomePod mini. So the issue is definitely to do with the SKY Hub 4.2 and it’s firmware. I think SKY is aware of the issue which is why the agent replaced the router straight away when I explained the issue.
Also note, I’ve been using SKY Hub 4.2 for at least 2 years now and never had this problem before until when it started last week, I just now home SKY doesn’t push any firmware updates that brings back the problem
In summary:
SKY Hub 4.2 with Firmware 7.03.0400.R had the problem
New replaced router with Firmware 7.03.0100.R seems to be working fine (for now)

Thanks so much for the explanation, so a new router is required? Will sky send these out? Is the router a newer model?

New router firmware will be automatically installed on Sky Hub 4 after 1st Feb.
