Apple HomePod Won’t Connect to WiFi

I am having the same issue.  I am on the latest firmware version 7.03.0400.R for my router.  I am so dissapointed (and surpised) that my HomePod cannot connect to wifi, despite every other device connecting perfectly!  SKY please can you provide an update when this will be fixed?

Same issue here with HomePod bought for Christmas not connecting to Sky WiFi (MULTIPLE attempts on many days)...... until today!!!
Suddenly connected perfectly with no probs👍. If you've been having this issue maybe try again now! 👍👍👍

I am also having the same issue with two HomePod Minis that now refuse to connect to WiFi. I've had mine a few years but I feel sorry for anyone who got theirs for Christmas! Any update Sky when this issue is to be resolved?

@MooroNM if the solution requires a firmware change as I suspect it will it should happen fairly soon as Sky's code freeze for the holiday is lifted.

Can anyone explain the technical reason why a HomePod can't connect to a sky router correctly but all other devices can??? Thanks

Hallelujah! All 5 of my HomePod minis back online. I guess the update is in the process of rolling out.. not once since early Dec have they been able to connect so this is great.

Same here. My two HomePod Minis came back online 4 days ago. So far, so good.

also found that the price of the wifi extender raised to £16 😞

I didn't have anything neither on my SKY router nor on my HomePod Minis for them to come back online. And I don't have a WiFi extender. I can only assume there was a remote update of the router.

Same issue here, HomePod mini worked great for about 2 years and is unable to connect to the WiFi for around a week now.

Fine connecting to a phone hotspot but not the Sky router. Did manage to get it connected (no idea how) for a moment and then it went back saying unable to connect to internet.

My HomePods have reconnected for the first time since before Christmas. Hopefully this fix is being rolled out now.
