I have a renewal message on my app for my broadband, but the garbage app says there is a technical issue when I get the the end and confirm. Has anybody else had this issue? Is it a ploy to get you to ring them so they can peddle you stuff you don't want or need?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Hazey1000 the reason you have to call in is normally there is a change that you need to agree to Often it is accepting a switch from an analogue voice line to a digital line which has implications for some customers with care alarms and affects 999 calls during power cuts. Thst is being driven by Openreach plan to switch off the okdcanalogue phone system. These require an agent to read a fixed text you have to agree to. There are other changes like the switch from partial fibre to full fibre.
Believe me Sky dont want you calling them any more than you do answering calls is very expensive. You should not get a hard sale if an agent tries it on simply say no.
