Amber flashing light

Got to the hub which was very very hot when I found it.The WiFi had stopped working and there was an amber flashing light.looked online it said to hold the reset button for 10 seconds to reset the hub.this has not worked and the orange light still remains flashing

Have you tried rebooting the hub at the mains ?
