Re: Accessing my SKY Ultra Fast Router as Admin.
While I'm sure you are trying to help. The Sky App on smartphone doesn't give Admin access. Just options to look at a few details and to pay more for add-ons. Thanks for trying, but do you understand what Admin access is? I've setup my own seperate WiFi AP network and as site Administrator I can do so much more than the Sky App allows.

@AC-Buck You asked for help gaining access to your routers admin, but didn't specify why. Therefore we have to advise that there are some settings in the routers admin GUI which will not have any long term effect if you change them in there.
You have been provided the credentials you asked for so can login and find out for yourself.

I'm reasonably familiar with the concept, yes. There's a longstanding bug in the Sky system which causes it to be slow to populate the Max admin tabs in the My Sky app for some users, as widely discussed in other forum posts.
Once the tabs appear you'll find the admin settings as described in the link I posted above, for SSID renaming, WiFi key change, encryption level setting, port forwarding, DMZ etc.
The one you won't see there is an option to unsynchronize and rename the 2.4 and 5Ghz bands individually, because that's not an option on this model. For recalcitrant IoT devices a workaround is to temporarily disable the 5Ghz band.
