Re: 900mbps no chance

How far are you from the router? How many walls are there between you and the router? Does your wifi device support wifi 6 with 2x2 MIMO?

The best real-world speeds of WiFi 6 with 2x2 MIMO typically reach around 600 to 900 Mbps under good conditions.

This speed will drop quickly as you move away from the router, place a wall between you and the router, and introduce radio noise, such as microwaves and neighbours' Wi-Fi.

Re: 900mbps no chance

Hey thanks for the advice. I'm sat basically on top of it. Using a Samsung A13 and it's very patchy sometimes I get 30 up and down, yet sky insist it's ok

Re: 900mbps no chance

Ok as an entry level phone the A13 supports  802.11ac 2x2 MIMO (WiFi 5) so you should expect real-world performance up to about 500Mbit/s. It supports WPA3 so there should be no issues connecting to a new white sky router.

Try using the service checker, what does it say?

Also make sure you are connected to the SSID of the router and are not using mobile data or a neighbour's Wi-Fi.
