HP printer issues after full fibre upgrade

Upgraded to Full Fibre with Sky.

Everything OK  -  TVs / Fones / Sky Box , , , , except :

My HP Envy 5640 will not now print anything at all - It printed from my computer or mobile phone by Bluetooth.

New Router details added to printer and computer.

Bluetooth is ON . . . . New Router details / name / password entered onto printer

Read somewhere that printer needs software upgrade to accept full fibre info ???

@sib123  As far as I am aware Bluetooth connections don't use your home network to make a connection, so a change in supplier and/or router shouldn't make any difference to existing Bluetooth connections.

This would seem to suggest your printer was , in fact, connecting via wi-fi. You might want to check what security protocol your printer uses, ( WPA3 for example) and ensure the router is using the same one.

With a white Max Hub you may need to reduce the wireless security level from WPA3 to WPA2-PSK using the Hub settings in the My Sky app.

You can use the same settings to temporarily disable the 5Ghz WiFi band: remember to re-enable it afterwards if you do this.

Shhhhhh !!!

Strangely, after deleting my printer because I was going to bin it and buy another  . . . . I tried one last time and re-installed it . . . . . IT WORKS !!!!!

Shhhhhhh . . . . its my 73rd birthdy next month . . . . it's come early!!!! . . . . (how do I get this smile off my face? . . . . I'm soooo happy!
