Re: 5 GHz network Nightmare

@Andisme All the newer sky hubs support both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz bands, so just say what hub you have and then what to do, if you want to go get new just do it, but you may also find those will not connect either, all my Tp-Link P110 smart plugs work 100% fine on anything so there was NO need to change what so ever.

Re: 5 GHz network Nightmare

@Andisme It's a Sky Broadband Hub SR203 version 4.2 if you wish, just please do not through the Q in the mix, that is a different product as you will see from the picture link, And so advice has to be, 1. go split the 2.4Ghz and the 5Ghz bands, once done easiest for you do the 2.4Ghz band so add the name behind it    _24 leave the 5Ghz alone, keeps all your working on that band fine.

Attach the plugs to the new name, you will see them both, and go from there.

Caveat, if your plugs where all working before on a band name, you may just wish to do that, but if you have already messed with tried resetting said plugs etc you may have already caused havoc for them, and reset off the plugs, back to basics and starting all over with them may just be the ONLY way to go now....

Link how to split below.
