help! ''SKY TV'' recurring payment coming out of my account- i have never used a sky product!

Hi, 

 

I checked my direct debits today and there is a recurring payment on my card called ''SKY TV'' for 9.99 that is complete news to me. I have never used a sky product, I dont even have a login for any of the sky sites, I had to make one.

Can anyone please help figure out how this has happened and how i stop it if i dont have an account?

@ogorki  Have you let anyone use your card for any reason.

 

I would contact your bank to stop any recurring payments.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

@ogorki The bank is incorrect, You have the right to cancel a direct debit as long as you are absolutely sure you don't have a service with Sky.

Do you have access to online banking because if you do you should be able to stop this direct debit yourself if you are sure this is nothing to do with Sky.

No, but I am being charged £9.99 every month by Sky and it's not part of any of my packages so I believe it is for Now TV
