Why has my sky bill increased from £86 to £153 in June?

My sky bill has gone from circa £86 pm up to £153 in June?  That's a50% plus increase - can anyone explain why? What if I can't afford it?

@Wittie it is probably as the result of a discounted deal ending. You need to contact Sky to try to renegotiate a new one.

I concur with @Daniel0210 an increase that big is because a minimum term discount or offer has expired and you are now paying full price

you will need to negotiate a new minimum term if you want a lower price

Sky would have told you when you took out the contract how long the minimum term was for so you would know when it was due to increase so now is the time to call them to find out if they will offer you another discount if you agree to another contract.
