Virgin service status saying midnight for fix in my area ... thankfully have Roku and around 6 beers in the fridge 😉

Im not convinced these Virgin status page reports are relating to our problem tbh

Mine says there are TV issues, but surely that is referring to Virgin TV, they wouldn't say that for Sky TV,. if anything it would be on their Broadband section saying 'sky customers have been shafted and we are currently investigating' or words to that effect 😉

Called Virgin customer support. They stated they don't support sky products and have a compatibility issue with sky equipment. They advised cancelling my broadband after being offered virgin stream which I declined. Problem only started today, but the tech team wouldn't answer that topic as to why.

Yeah I think that's seperate as if I check my area it's showing as no issues in my area on virgin website so definitely different issue to this one

Yes my problem only started today aswell so virgin could lose a lot of customers if they dont support sky

Only problem with that is sky broadband isn't fast enough to support glass in my area so will have to change tv provider rather then internet provider

Would Virgin lose customers ? Or would Sky ?

Nothing comes close to Virgins BB in my area.....so Virgin would probably win for me (despite me just cancelling their TV and moving back to Sky)

I cant believe this is areal answer though, im sure anti competition would have something to say, and more like Virgin employee just trying to make a quick buck my selling people their own Stream package when they call up.

Not sure why anyone is considering leaving Sky/Virgin over this it's a temporary issue it will be resolved something similar can happen with any ISP.

Always been loyal to both broadband with virgin sky for tv
