Unlink an old account
When I look under "your details" I see message asking me to unlink an old account. No matter what I've tried so far the message is still there every time I go to "your details".
Also I entered my phone number using sky.com but it doesn't appear in "mysky" app and when I enter it there it rejects it as an error. Any solutions?

Re: Unlink an old account
If the link in the post above doesn't work for you then all you should need to do is to login to the old account and remove the email adress from it.

Re: Unlink an old account
Thanks, but a couple of problems: I don't know which old accounts (if any) I have. Also, clicking the link given by SKY1992bf takes me to a page saying I cannot unlink online.

Re: Unlink an old account
I think you would be best of calling Sky support about this as they should be able to sort it out for you.
If you have a Sky Mobile or Sky Talk landline phone then you can call Sky for free via the 150 number. Or under "Need more help ?" at the bottom this page is the number to call:

Re: Unlink an old account
@Marka234 Have you been a customer before and return having been away for more than 12 months?
this is normal reason for this situation as an old account is permanently closed after 12 months if no activity after 12 months

Re: Unlink an old account
@SKY1992bf @caesarome Thanks for your help. I did use to be old customer. I rang sky and told them about my 2 email addresses and old account and my habit of editing/changing things around so that I may have used both emails with both accounts. They suggest that I choose one and leave the other one alone - can't see why they can't remove it, it's like asking someone to not let their tongue touch their broken tooth! Anyway I've chosen Gmail and now can't use marka234 as that's with Hotmail! Hence I'm now marka12. No matter what Sky do they can't break the loop of unlink old account link new account, in fact once you've done the steps once they don't see the message to unlink at their end. They suggest that I just ignore the message!
So all in all it's probably nothing to do with customers and something for Sky web maintenance to sort out.
