Unable to remove item from playlist

@Jayboy1990 so you are saying you DO NOT need to select the View all in the Playlist, which then displays the sub menu Play now in order to access the Play now Rail to play programs added to the Playlist?

If so, what is the point of the Play now Rail, if you can Watch, (Play any episode), from the Playlist Rail?

The Rail for playlist that you see on the homepage is a play now rail. 

The idea behind the play now rail is for you to easily and quickly access content you have added and that has become available to watch. 

For example:

Adding tonights Lingo will go into the main playlist, at time of airing it will show in Play now (on homepage) as playable whilst its being shown live. It will then dissapear briefly until ITV hub make it available for catch up and then it appears again on the Play now rail again and when selecting would take you to the ITV hub for playback. 

Hopefully that covers your question. 

Play now will also offer programmes you havent added to your playlist for instance if you watch eastenders on demand the Playnow rail will suggest that you may want to continue watching this programme, and explains why some shows can display in the play now rail but are not added to your main playlist.

I am even more confused now sorry? All I know is, I can guarantee you after 4pm today, LINGO will drop out of the Playlist Rail on both Home Screen and TV Shows Screen, where I KNOW it can be REMOVED, BUT it will REMAIN in the Play now Rail, where it CANNOT be removed.

This will happen even if I REMOVE LINGO from the Playlist Rail BEFORE 4pm, which is the option for all programs in there. BUT only LINGO comes back into my Play now Rail. Anything else I remove from my Playlist Rail, stays removed....

This is what is doing my nut in....

Are you watching Lingo once its been in the Play now rail on homescreen?

This is because the playlist thinks that you like watching Lingo so will keep the program appearing as a suggestion.

TBH the Playlist is one of the most confusing things to try and explain. 

The show centre is when you go into the full playlist. 

It lists tv shows, sports, films etc.

You will see once the images have been approved that the play no rail shows episodes that are unwatched and available. 

The main playlist however lists absolutely everything iv watched and added including things that havent aired yet so unavailable, and also the one that have ended and have no more episodes in the series to be watched.

Thanks @Jayboy1990 but I am still confused, I will simply not use the Playlist, I can just as easily find what I want from the many menu Rails.

By The Way, am I the only user who cannot see images posted, and highlighted text unless I am LOGGED out as a Sky Subscriber?

Images have to be approved so dont appear immediately.

@MichaeWlG if it makes you feel any better, I still have Around The World In 80 Days in my Play Now rail 🙄

I can't see that ever dropping off as I usually watch the progs I've added as they air or not long after. What is frustrating is that those I have watched live such as Neighbours and Call The Midwife are still in my Play Now rail. Sky need to tweak their algorithms in order that programs that HAVE been watched live do drop off the Play Now rail once they've been watched 🤷‍♀️
