Unable to remove item from playlist

Apologies if this has already been mentioned elsewhere amongst other Playlist issues.

I watched a film the other night on iplayer. Immediately upon finishing for some reason it was added to the playlist. I didn't add it myself.

in an effort to remove it, despite it already being there, I added it with the + button. After doing this, the remove option became available. So naturally clicked that but it's still sitting in my playlist.

has this bug been sorted yet? And if so, any solution? Thanks.

Whilst experimenting with my new Glass TV, i managed to add 2 shows to the playlist. One from ITV and one from BBC. I find I can remove the ITV show but not the BBC one. I know the BBC is haemorrhaging viewers, but this smacks of desperation.

I realize that Sky Glass is a new product, but it is not endearing a lot of us at present..

@TardisBlue Is it actually in your Playlist still or just sitting in the Play Now rail? Which would be correct

Its in the playlist - ,i have 2 things in there. The ITV one has the option to Remove, the BBC one doesn't.

I have the same problem. A single-episode BBC documentary that I have already watched in full (i.e. to the very end) appears on the Play Now section. It was never added, and the "Add" button is available on the item details screen.

I tried to Add it then Remove it, but it still persists. It gets in the way of me finding items that I would like to see on my Play Now list.

It's a pain. I was iPlayer app  today, clicked on Ridley road by error,  it's now in my playlist  no option to remove

stopped using the playlist now,  it's not really fit for purpose,  though if we as users are being used for testing it, it should change pretty quickly,  as technically this is one of the main items that will be used the most

There is a quite comprehensive FAQ section pinned to the top of this forum. It answers a lot of questions to do with the playlist. If something is on in the Play Now rail and you have started to watch it, you cannot remove it, however, if you do not watch it again it will "fall off" the rail in time as you add and watch other shows.

Hope that is of some help. I'm sure Sky will soon be updating the playlist system and improving it.

Count me in as well please. I have a number of items on my Play Now Rail that are not in my Playlist but can't get rid of them!!

We are also having an issue with removing watched items from our playlist. There is no remove button despite the help video saying that there is and that this is the way to do it. We watch a program right to the last minute thinking it would natually disappear but this doesn't work either. Anyone else experiencing this ?
