I don't watch grand designs
bout the only thing I watch on channel 4 is naked attraction 😂😂
and the only bug bear I have with all 4 is that it takes about 53 seconds to buffer from a blurry picture to HD
For some of the Naked Attraction participants, a blurry picture would be much more preferable !
(not that I watch the show 😏)

OMG!
When are all these buggy faults going to stop???
Now Netflix won't load just getting the red circle and that's it!
I've switched back to my Apple TV Sky Glass/Stream is just sooooo frustrating 😡
All I want is to sit quietly with a coffee and a Mr Kipling press a few buttons and watch...... can't be that difficult, can it?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out morePower off and on will solve it
some of us who have had the glass for a while have smart plugs (paid a tenner for mine) - you can power the plug off / on via the app or Alexa - saves the repetitive strain from bending under the tv unit
glass used to suffer from daily network drops (thankfully a thing of the past now) but still need to use it now and again for app crashes

And now this is what I get for All4
Ignore reflection on tv not closed blackout blinds.
So yet another reboot.
Is anyone else having to put up with this? I'm really fed up now 😒.
I did so much investigation into Stream before switching, what a huge mistake.
Buggy, unstable, unreliable, Playlist hit and miss, stuttering streams, much reliance on app providers, costs more than Q. Shockingly poor!

No I live in an old house thick walls so the whole place is fully Ethernet wired. Even Q mini boxes were hard wired otherwise would not work.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI got 2 pucks and a glass tv - tv is wired pucks are wireless and I've never seen those problems
YouTube went a bit weird once but apart from that all the apps behave normally
maybe there's an issue with some of the cabling? Or you have a dodgy puck ?

The cabling is 100% fine I'm sure of that. Possible the puck is fried, not sure and slowly losing interest.
I'm assuming a cancellation is a call to Sky rather than through MySky?
Anyone aware of direct number for glass or is it just customer services?
I'm back on Apple TV for now, stable at least.

My TV Guide, Hmmm what to watch?
15 Oct 2022 11:03 AM
Failed to appear on the Play Now rail today from last nights broadcasting:
BBC - Mock the Week
ITV - Professor T
C4 - I Literally Just Told You
I've checked my Apple TV they are all loaded, checked the apps on Stream and they are within the apps.
So again a failure. what is the point of a Play Now playlist feature if it can't populate accurately.

I've spent all morning to carry out factory reset on tv and puck, it is the puck that has the major issues.
Finally completed favourite TV channels and rebuilt my Playlist. Fingers crossed this will resolve at least some of my problems. I don't truly hold out much hope but you have to try.
Sad thing is I really want this to work as I believe it to be the future. Just maybe future firmware updates will help but I can't wait so long to make a decision as I just have 2 weeks or so left within the return period.
I notice some Sky employees on here but nobody has reached out despite all the issues I've been reporting. The Tech team at Sky never called me back either as promised. 🤨
So let's see what happens after reset 🤞🤞🤞
