Why can't I watch the F1 race from the start?

Just sat down to watch the first F1 race from the start, but it's still going on live with no option to play from the beginning, what's going on? Worked OK with the qualifying yesterday. 

Am I missing something

It showing restart on uhd on my system.

I can't view either the build up or the race on catch-up despite adding both to my playlist... would be good to know if this is just on glass or sky Q also

Same here. I had it paused at lap 12  but it must of started playing as when got back it was on lap 48 and I couldn't rewind!

Didnt on mine and now there doesn't appear to be a way of watching the race.

Said it was added to my playlist but doesn't seem to be there at all.

Had the same but going on to live, volume off and squinting my eyes I then got the watch from start message. 

Pathetic that it takes doing that rather than showing the option on the screen you've pictured.

I'm assuming you did this while the race was still on? So there's no way now?

Yeah, that's right. It was still going and now there is no way to watch the whole race.

I'm not happy, as this was a deal breaker when I got sky glass. I was assured that you could watch every race when ever you wanted after the program had started.

Same here. On Friday night wanted to watch the practice and the only thing showing was to add the 3rd practice that hadn't started yet. The race should be on my playlist but isn't now that I've went to watch it. But hay ho all the practices are there now. What a load off crap. Paying the full sport fee to just watch F1 hurst enough but this is ridiculous. Just tried to call the to get me back to Q even though I'm 3 months in. 

anyone out there looking at SKY GLASS thinking it streams like Netflix beware it doesn't.

Same unbelievable the one thing I watch. Had to drop our kids off to their friends come home and can't watch the race just after it started. Hope this gets sorted soon as will be going back to sky Q. Sort it out Sky not what you promised !!! also showing the f1 news under the the main sports seeing key things that happend in the  race before showing highlights ruined it for me today.

It's a complete joke ,a very bad joke ,I've just watched the build up on sky go as can't get it on glass but the race is not on there ,the chequered flag is **bleep** is sky doing ,can't believe I've got a 65" tv and having to watch a 6"phone screen we should get a refund for this month at least .🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

I even tried Sky Go. Same thing. Build up only. 

Ended up watching the highlights on Channell 4 while sitting like a **bleep** paying a £25 sky sports bill. 

A refund isn't enough, it needs ripped out. Even with the channel 4 stream you have to start it mid way through and then take the option of playing from the start while squinting so you don't see the results. 🙈

load of crap and the only reason I don't throw the remote through the screen was by telling my self at least we have these problems unlike all the poor folk out in Ukraine. 🙏

Does any Sky employee ever respond here?

It would be good to know if we should be expecting to see the full or not.

Sky employees only post on here if they have information to share, they are not directly tech facing so don't get a steady stream of updates. 

I would imagine with the way this forum kicked off over the weekend that they are contacting relevant teams to gather a response before commenting.
