Tells me to upgrade

I'm trying to watch A Place in the Sun which I've recorded. It's telling me it's available but that I need to upgrade to watch it ??

What channel did you record the program from and do you subscribe to the HD package ?

I didn't think you could record HD if you don't have HD. Is this correct?
