Mine was delivered by DPD. I got a message saying it was on its way and would be delivered on 2nd November. I then got a message a day later to say it was on the van. This is a DPD problem, not Sky this time!

No low battery warning on my remote this morning... but it's lost the pairing to the TV again. I bet you it comes back later. Farcical.

I wasn't told it would be next day and so I'm not expecting my replacement today. If it's not delivered Monday I will keep calling them until they send me a replacement!

What i've found, twice now, is that removing and then reseating the batteries really does seem to do the trick, at least for me. Just takes some perseverance. Try it. It might not work for you, and can take some time, but that's twice now, with two controllers.
This doesn't work for me. Tried it 20 or more times! Tried rubbing the batteries, tried rolling them, tried pressing them, tried new batteries (Duracell & Energizer) and it's still dead 32 hours later.
It's very frustrating. I maybe got lucky, but both times I had them back up and running within 5 - 10 minutes just removing and reseating the batteries. Might be of help to some who don't want the hassle of not having Sky and waiting on a replacement which might have the same problem anyway.
Do the batteries feel tight within the compartment ? I've opened two controllers now and feel that there's a bit too much play in them for my liking. Can be rolled too easily and a slight bit of play end to end. If you have some tin foil at hand you could maybe try folding up tightly a small piece and place at the positive end of each battery. You've got nothing to lose.

Do you have a working backlight @fizzdisco ?

Yep. Backlight is fine. It's everything else that has a mind of its own. Every day a new surprise.

At least yours shows signs of life, mine remains dead and shows no sign of life. Every cloud and all that... 😂

Yeah, it's the most interesting thing about the puck. I don't actually use it for watching TV!
It's become a bit like an old Tamagochi. I check on it every now and again to see what it's up to out of mild curiosity. I'm sure I'll get bored of it eventually and chuck it in a drawer, forever to be forgotten.
If Stream was my main source of TV I'd be livid though. I never expected much from it when I switched from Q, and so far it's met that expectation with flying colours.

Brilliant comment and worrying too. How the hell have they managed to supply non functioning remotes??!!
Looks like I'm going to be stuck with Q if I want UHD sport. 🙁

I thought it felt a bit Fisher Price when it arrived. Seems I was right.
Shame as the Q remote was always great. Never had an issue with mine, same with the old +HD remote - it never failed.

Yeah, the Q remote is really good. There are never any problems with it. Mine is about 4 years old I think and, if I remember correctly, I've replaced the batteries twice.
The number of deal breaking bugs with stream is ridiculous, but this one leaves me speechless.

Just got the following SMS:
Order submitted 8am yesterday and only now sky are processing it. So definitely don't expect one next day lol

@EthanIsCool , can confirm that I still had my Sky Q remote. Did the reset on the Sky Stream remote then did this on the Sky Q remote. As soon as the Sky Q remote was reset the Sky Stream on the TV displayed the remote control set up for the Sky Q remote to control the Sky Stream Puck - Works perfectly. I also called Sky and spoke to a friendly lady on the tech support team, where I was advised that Sky are working on a software update to address the current issue, so im going to hold on to my Sky Q remote until near the the return date once Sky have actually fixed this issue.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI'm sceptical that a software update is going to fix the remote unless there is a Bluetooth stack problem
i would have thought if there was there would be an issue with every single remote or puck ?
then again what do I know ?
