Hold 7 and 9 for 7 seconds to unpair it and then 1 and 3 for 3 seconds to connect it again.

Cheers for that, took a few attempts but sorted now! Think I might just pair the remaining 2 Streams in my house with Q remotes to improve reliability & save any more aggro!

Thank you. Just received sky glass today and had the faulty remote issue. Turned off the voice control so was seemingly stuck without a functioning TV until a new remote arrives. Your fix has worked for now. It has at least got the TV on so we can change the voice settings in the event the remote fails again.

just recieved our sky PUCK, plugged everything in remote was glitchy so changed batteries now wont light change channel nothing.

Yes I do have this issue! I was just trying to see what I can do and if it's a common issue. I got glass and two pucks on Saturday (it's Tuesday) and I have had to replace the batteries in the two puck remotes everyday! 

My bedroom puck worked this morning, then tonight wanted to turn the tv on and nothing. No backlight or anything. 
I changed the batteries twice and then it seemed to work once I press on the power button really hard. And then on the Home Screen, the remote didn't respond and had to press the remote together hard which seemed to bring it to life. 

 

Have had no problem (touch wood) so far with main glass tv. Just both pucks. 

I just wonder if it was motion sensored with the back light lighting up? And this was draining the battery. 

To be honest I'm tempting to return everything because of this issue. 

any help appreciated. I will

also call sky in the morning.

@Missdpebbles It is not the batteries, but a bad connection.

Get some tweezers and pull out the positive springs where the batteries go for a better connection.

 

They are badly designed/manufactured remotes

My remotes intermittently stop working. I've only had the pucks for a few days. 

Really disappointing along with all the other glitches.

@Bushbert it worked! I slightly pulled out the positive spring (just so one side is out of the plastic) and they are both working fine this morning. 

Try it, but it's still very annoying that I had to do this and I got very annoyed last night. But hopefully this has fixed it. 

I do like the fact that I can have the tv anywhere in my sitting room but without the pucks working I was about to Chuck it all it and go back to sky Q

After waiting for a replacement remote for over 2 weeks, I eventually bought a replacement from Amazon - working fine so far. Sky refunded my costs and credited my list viewing charges. Shame that when I suggested buying a new one at the outset they said this would not be a solution ?!

Haven't even had my Sky Puck a week, was working perfectly fine then all of a sudden isn't working. I've changed the batteries many times, followed instructions on pushing the numbers and still nothing. No lights are even coming up on the remote and I haven't even had it a week!

@Stacey99 I had the same issue and someone in this thread recommended twisting the remote like you are ringing out a towel and since then it does seem to be better

 

Absolutely ridiculous that sky know they have such a common problem and just don't care though.
