I'm kinda reluctany to say this (sods law and all that) but I've had no problems with my remote. I was one of the earlier uses of Sky Stream... beginning of October. Don't know if that's why I've not had had any problems. The model number on mine is LC103-ant then second line RSRD482151 MP-100.2

Interesting to read that you have a newer revision than myself. I received my Sky Stream pack on the 21st October.

I am using the same one (puchased from Argos) and I can use the Netflix app and watch programmes.

Do you know what model number your Stream remote is? If you take the battery cover off it's there just above the batteries.

My remote says it's a LC103-ant too but I would expect the model number to remain the same. It's usually the PCB revision that changes unless there are any cosmetic changes to the hardware too. My PCB's revision number is: MP-100.01

Has anyone else had this update? For the first time since getting Stream early October I can now launch Netflix from the top rail, going directly to a programme. Previously it would only go to a never-ending red circle. Also, and it might be my imagination, but navigation seems more fluid. I wonder if it's fixed 'my remote died' problem 🤔.

So earlier I had a knock at the door, Amazon with the replacement Sky Glass remote. Turns out they couldn't cancel and proceeded with delivery!
This one worked and paired first time. Firmware version is 5103.2.0 and no updated so far. If this one dies in a few days time like the original (still dead) one did then it must be the update bricking my remotes. DPD have my replacement and that's due to be delivered Monday. I've gone from not being able to watch TV due to having no working remote to having more remotes than Argos have in stock!

I just had this issue with Netflix using a Sky Glass remote. The problem isn't with the remote, it's the app causing the problem.

The remote I received from Amazon has updated to 5103.3.4 overnight and it still works. So I guess if it dies like the original it won't be a failed update as it has the latest firmware installed at this point. 🤞

I wasn't going to post again but what i'm about to say might be helpful to anyone waiting on a delivery by DPD/DHL from Sky... I just got a text message from DHL informing me that my Sky Glass remote today (Sunday) between 14:14-15:14.

My dodgy remote seems happier on the new firmware. No low battery warnings & no loss of volume control on both times I've tried it. This is still using the original remote, not the replacement Sky sent, and still using the (new) batteries it said on numerous occasions were running low.
