Speaker tests on you tube - anyone else getting no bass sounds?

Replacement tv just arrived and unfortunately it's exactly the same. The delivery guys had picked up 6 returns this morning and one of those was due to zero bass. Such a shame but this is the end of my sky glass journey.

Wait for an software update in the next 24/48 hours that's what I get when I phone as the issue seams to be software related and is affecting all models

@Nigel+Whiting I contacted Sky again today and new Glass on the way for Sunday, I'm slightly apprehensive of a replacment set, as other than the bass issue the TV is working really well, I could end up with something worse based on the experinces of others.

If the software fixes it then great, but who knows. When I called Sky the advice was make sure my blu-ray player was not close to the TV and to put the picture setting into Party mode. moving the bu-ray would make it impossible to use and party mode did absolutely nothing, other options like using the bass boost also have no effect.

My new unit has arrived and although the sound does sound a bit better still no bass like a sound bar should sound , have I got bigger expectations than what the tv can provide or is basing it on how my other sound bar sounds too much to ask ?? I'm hoping a software update sorts out the problem or I think I will

go back to sky Q with the sky sound box

So update, reset the telly and it appears to have run and update and the bass is there alright. So I'd there is any doubt that you can hear and feel it there is defo something up with the software or hardware. As I asked earlier is it compatible to my Sonos beam in bass terms yes but in surround sounds it's really immersive, hope that helps others

@fairmattley i tested my bass after update, no difference whatsoever, no effect either from bass boost setting. 

Can I ask do you actively the sub woofer? Does the bass boost make an obvious difference to the sound?

@fairmattley so what kind of reset ?? As last time I did a factory reset the unit broke completely

I refreshed apps, then went to download latest software once apps had refreshed, seemed to pull the new software through when I did that.

So turned off and I unplugged for 30 secs, turned back on and then reset all picture and sound settings. Then tested and now the sound is totally different. Mainly now that there is bass, and night mode and bass boost toggle creates a notible difference. Not an expert but sure that's done the trick and hope it helps a few others get there as this sky glass thingy is a temperamental beast so far 😁

Thanks @fairmattleythat's interesting, I have a replacement  Glass coming on Sunday, but was hoping the update would make a difference, there's no difference with any of the modes such bass boost and nighttime after the update. It's a shame as everything else on the TV is spot on.
