No LFE for me either, so I'll try and reset and see what the next steps are.

Ok! I have done the test with the link above, I can confirm that I get sound out of the lfe, all be it a little muffled.

I wouldn't say it was a really thumping sound though.

Guys, the initial test won't work at all on sky glass it's not setup to test the LFE correctly.

the Dolby test should work, base your testing on the Dolby before calling sky.

  1. @cwmparc Thank you, did you have to go through the reset process as above?

So, just tried on called 5.1 Channel Audio test by K Factory on YouTube and this works fine, LFE and all.  I have the 65" Glass TV.

@Jayboy1990 you said here in this post that sky asked you to run this test through you sky glass and that it sounded incredible on the lfe speaker,🤔🤔

Sky 65inch sky glass in gloss black and complete sky package+ whole home, 49inch 4k HDR LG smart TV, 32inch LG HD smart TV,, EE 67mbps broadband, EE 5g mobile phone, PS4 and Acer aspire desktop pc i5 core.

Re: Speaker tests on you tube - anyone else getting no bass sounds?

The Dolby test did yes. @Bartopia  I apologise if Iv confused the two test videos.

the first time around it was just sort of nothing then after the resetting it would play some sound but not in the way I would expect it to sound.

many other videos have been giving me LFE sound that pumps but that video is useless in my opinion.

Re: Speaker tests on you tube - anyone else getting no bass sounds?

@cwmparc Taken on it's own, yes, somewhat muffled, however when all the channels were playing at once, I thought it sounded very good, so I'm not really sure what to make of it except it does seem to be working, albeit whether it's meant to sound muffled I'm not sure.

I will say though that mines on a base on a table unit so maybe the proximity to the stand and the unit is having some effect.

Also, when watching TV, the bass comes through very well for my preference, subtle but very noticeable when the content requires it, so I'm not sure there's an issue with mine.

Would be good for Sky to publish a certified working Dolby checking video so there's a single reference point we could all check against.

Re: Speaker tests on you tube - anyone else getting no bass sounds?

@Joe-Bow  Same experience, it's expected to sound like that!

If people are unhappy and want to take a risk on a panel and sound system swap sky will do just that.

Re: Speaker tests on you tube - anyone else getting no bass sounds?

What I do think would be helpful is a Sky Glass specific sound test, issued by sky. The advisor agreed that this would be helpful but unlikely.

@Jayboy1990 Then I'm a happy bunny.  Mine sounds very good in normal watching, thankfully.
