is it Openreach with a Sky router, or do you have an end to end Fiber to your property environment?

I've downloaded a number of programmes and they've downloaded with no errors so hopefully it's now fixed, for me anyway

@grog+arsonAll it means is that we can Escallation to Sky staff, we can't directly contact people who can make programming changes etc unfortunately neither can the staff members who post here. As with all large firms it is almost impossible to contact anyone that can do anything other than help with settings etc etc.

I have just spoken with Sky - second time today! There is a now a guaranteed solution.

I've done it and confirm it works....BUT you won't like it! It involves resetting the hard drive  - you will lose all your recordings - those willing do that might just want to take this option. We took a family vote!

1. Home button

2. Down arrow to settings (don't press enter)

3. Enter 001 and press enter

4. Down arrow to reset

5. Choose reset hard drive

6. After about 5 minutes the system will reboot

I hope that helps anyone still waiting for resolution. Not ideal, but at least it gets you back in business. btw, my box also wouldn't pause or rewind live programming- this is also now fixed following the hard drive reset.

Think I'll wait for a proper solution. 

Not losing hundreds of hours of recordings on the off-chance that this is a permanent solution. 

Will be interesting to see if it is indeed a permanent fix or just temporary, like the DNS thing.

Mmmmm, this is their solution for every issue, and from my perspective, not really a solution.

it's like you having a problem accessing your bank account, and the fix is to remove all of your money and you can't get it back!! 🧐 😉

@happydatsun You'll have to keep us update on how well this works, for those with minimal recording in their planner (sort of defeats the objective of having a Sky Q box), but it also sounds like you have yet another level of issue, with the Pause & Rewind issue, as I've personally not seen that until this point.

Funnily enough purchased films download fine. 🙄 Go figure! If the issue carries on much longer we're going to cancel Sky Movies as so fed up with not being able to download on demand.

Several programmes on different channels will not download. Goes to 0% then says download failed. Have tried system reset, unplugged, removed and reinserted card..... still won't download random series or episodes. Followed various advice online and still not working 🥺

I've noticed this issue over the past couple of days. I've just done a sowftware update on my SkyQ box, and now I'm able to download programmes again 😀

@AEKrr There are lots of suggestions on this thread from Sky, but realistically the only thing that I've found that works is to just keep trying the downloads, it may take a while, but until Sky fix the underlying issue, nothing is going to work like it did.
