Sky remotes being naughty

On Sky+ HD .....Having intermittent trouble with Remote 1 ( Main TV) and Remote 2 ( No 2 working with Magic Eye in other room ) ... Fast forward/ Live pause buttons: ...often don't work properly or give false action .... as they both are seperate from each other, I think it must be the SkyBox.

I note from other comments here that there could be 2 "repairs" ... 1. Pressing 7 and 9 buttons for3 secs etc...... and 2. Sky Rebuild.....  Which one should I use ???? ....... the only other choice is to replace both remotes with new.

Any advise or help would be appreciated.

The 'repairs' you mention are for Sky Q remotes, so not applicable to Sky+. I agree with you that it's most likely a box problem, rather than your remotes. 

Wnat information dod Sky ask for?

As a first step, I'd suggest a Planner Rebuild, as described in step 2 here:

Thanks for that Mark .... not been in touch with Sky (yet !) so no info given or received...... going to try re-build as you suggest... will keep you posted.
