Discussion topic: Sky broadband upgrade multi room issue

Open reach upgraded sky broadband today, new network name and password. Main box ok but multi room mini box now not working.
Started on reactivate. Since then no menu at all.
Tried usual things, turned off multi room and mini box, reset button, refresh button etc
All that happens is get press home button when screen goes black usual message then mini box light goes orange and nothing changes. Can't switch back on.
Multiroom box connection light not lit.
Driving me potty!
Should I restart main router?

@Annie2022 I would restart the router when that is up and running restart the main box when that is up and running go to the mini box and there is a reset button on the back press and hold that in you should get a red light appear on the mini box keep the reset button pressed in until the red light goes out for a second then let the button go this will reset your mini box you will not loose anything at all by doing this

@Laing1 thanks very much, all sorted, think the moral of the story is don't get in a big strop cos it stop brain engaging - lots of stairs in our house! 🙂
