Sky Q Box freezing and very loud fans

Hello,

I hope someone can help, since we got the Sky Q box installed (roughly 6 weeks) we have had constant issues, I'd say 4-5 times a week I'd wake up to the noise of the fans and to fix it,  I'd have to disconnect the power and wait it for initialise again. As well as waking up to the very loud fans, the box also likes to freeze while we are watching tv, about 30 seconds after the screen freezes the fans start to get louder, I've tried updating the box and make sure the box is well ventilated but nothing is working.

On the Q box, go down to Settings but don't press Select. Instead type 0 0 1 Select to open the hidden menu. From there you can Reset Settings (you won't lose any recordings or preferences) which takes about 20 minutes. This usually cures fan issues. See if that helps sort things out.
