Thanks for the response. Good to know it's not me who has lost the plot!
i have just been informed by a sky rep that glass CUstomer services is often 3rd partied out. Explains the lack of ability and knowledge.
I won't be signing anything else unless I am given a secure delivery date for the new unit.
i understand now why people stream with alternate devices.

Good luck hopefully sorted before xmas. I was without sky for a month but now had refunds and good will gesture. If you have a playstation/laptop or xbox if you.download sky go you can watch some channels not brilliant but better than nothing.

So Sky can't cope with this and have subbed it out, talk about slopey shoulders. My and your contract is with Sky not some 3rd party unamed entity

I agree with other cancelling your direct debit will cause more problems along the line.
who has told you you cannot get another sky glass tv ??? Your previous messages you said you was due a replacement in 3 days which has not arrived. So why have you now been told you can't get a new one ??

That may be a misconception based on the use of an external logistics partner for physical delivery and returns of Glass television sets, which is not something Sky have needed to do with previous products. There's never been any indication I'm aware of that Sky are outsourcing customer support for Glass, although their internal processes when things go wrong do appear convoluted to say the least.

Hi, I'm expecting a call back at 19:00 to confirm a new delivery date. I have asked over and over when, yet to have a confirmed date.

that's different to what you said earlier though. You have been told you can't get a replacement glass.

like you i wish i'd never bothered.i'm always having to turn it off at the wall,re-boot. changing channels at times, takes ages.i asked for a refund on the month i paid for.no chance i was told.been with sky 18 years now.having to pay extra for HD then extra for UHD is a disgrace with sky glass.

Well you pay extra for HD with sky W so why wouldn't you pay for HDD on sky glass it's an extra don't matter how
long you have been with them why should YOU get something free others pay for at the end of the day your a customer like everyone else

It does come with sky glass you want HDD you pay for it like everyone else has to. Did you pay extra for Hd on sky Q yes you did like everyone else did.
great comeback when a comment does not go your way however. No I don't work for sky sky any other great comebacks now.

I've had similar arguments with sky. I was going to court over the issue. Now I have been told sky q 2tb box on its ways. Brand new box 🤞. I can keep tv and get my package I have. The price is cheaper than before. So if all turns up. I get connected all works. I will accept that. I do not have any tv tonight but in long run I'm happy with it. Just hope you get what you want from sky.
