Regardless of what/where/how... it's still not very entertaining. 

Relying on a single server to provide the info for the OS to actually function correctly, and causing it to go catastrophically into freefall like it did is really not good.

@Johner41 there was a fault at Sky's end which was fixed at 8.20 all we know is the system that updarescthe UI on customers sets failed early this morning.

Sky fixed this at about 0830.

Re: I turn on my tv sky glass and it just keep saying sorry there currently no programmes of this ty

I've spoke to them, they are sending me a replacement remote, I had to do a full recovery on mine and it ran an update and reset then bricked the remote.
