I'm pleased this is now resolved & thank you to the superusers who shared the updates, but I'm not sure that we should all be 'grateful to Sky for getting it fixed...we've paid for this 'amazing new tech' and I'm having pretty regular issues currently. I'm really tired of it!

Crikey. I think we'll be waiting quite a while longer for personal playlists...
This 'Entertainment OS' really isn't very entertaining is it?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@SlenderRobert the fault this morning was not with the OS on the boxes so your concerns are mis-placed. It appears a Sky server providing the info for the UI malfunctioned and needed a kick. Sky will look into what went wrong to avoid repitition. Could of happened to any one of the TV systems.

In fairness the reboot was triggered as soon as the morning shift turned up 🤣🤣🤣
This is a nightmare for Sky today's troubles posted all over Twitter is not the best of adverts for this premium product.
It emphasises how flaky the system can be. You have to have some sympathy for the tech team at Sky there must be some horrendous meetings taking place concerning this product rollout.
They are wise to halt Profiles, all energy should be placed on stability and bug fixes before anything new is thrown into the mix.

A single server, no back up to kick in when a server has a blip is rather short sighted. I can't see Sky relying on no back up to activate - surely 🤯
