Re: Sky Glass Delivered

Hello could you please tell me what the Dolby atmos sound is like?

I have got an Onyko Dolby atmos sound system but there are speakers every where,I know it won't give me sound behind me but if the glass sound is good,I might order one today.

Thank you.

Re: Sky Glass Delivered

So we've got several people on here now with Glass up and running but not one person has gone "wow, it's amazing". Is that because you're all dazzled by the incredible picture quality, and stunned into silence by the astonishing Dolby Atmos sound?

Or is it all just a bit underwhelming?

I'm surprised there hasn't been one person who's given a rundown of the experience so far...

The post yesterday noting that Brightness appeared to be pre-set to 52 / 100 is probably appropriate here.

The Glass TV is consuming so much of their available bandwidth that they've not been able to post their first impressions/review 😉

Re: Sky Glass Delivered

It's very odd. Not even a brief few sentences with first impressions.... speed of navigation, smoothness of channel switching, effectiveness of voice control, general streaming quality, how does Dolby Vision look, etc, etc... but we've had nadah.

Come on peeps, speak up please. Or is it a steaming pile of... after all?

Seen quite a few saying the voice control doesn't work.

Re: Sky Glass Delivered

I would double check the microphone and accesibility settings for anybody who's voice control doesn't work. Mic is supposed to be on be default according the Sky Help videos, but wouldn't surprise me if theres a setting needing thrned on somewhere.

Re: Sky Glass Delivered

It took me that long to set the thing up i haven't even had chance to rate it yet.  I can say the sound is excellent though, and the picture quality as good as you'd expect.

Here's a tip kids, don't tell the delivery man you'll set it up yourself.

Speed of navigation is slow if you're going up and down changing channels.  Just checking what's on other channels is faster.
