Re: Sky Glass Delivered

Thanks @Anonymous - this is the kind of info we're after... keep 'em coming!

Re: Sky Glass Delivered

Maybe you have to sign a non disclosure agreement when you switch the tv on. Either that or Sky Glass is fitted with a "Westworld" type mind control device rendering people incapable of posting bad reviews..

Re: Sky Glass Delivered

Hello I am wondering if you can use wireless speakers with Sky glass tv?

And would they work?

I am really undecided wether to order a glass tv today.

Thank you.

Re: Sky Glass Delivered

What is playlist like? Is it smooth when going to a programme on a different platform? Hopefully someone will watch football tonight to let us know if that runs smoothly.

Re: Sky Glass Delivered

Mine is all set up but have noticed Disney+ does not support Dolby Vision or Atmos. I've not tried Netflix yet as it wants to migrate my premium account into Sky's standard offering.

The sound is excellent though and look forward to playing something in Atmos.

Picture quality is very good and what to expect for a Qled, though I need to tweak some settings.

As someone else has mentioned in this thread, I would get the delivery drivers to set the stand up as it's not the simplest.

Re: Sky Glass Delivered

@matty147 a friend of a friend is apparently waiting for someone from Sky to call him back.

Says the channels started stuttering when flicking up and down the live channels but has progressed to whole UI becoming slow and unresponsive. Likes the TV design and says sound good. Pic not as good as his Samsung TV bought last year.

Re: Sky Glass Delivered

@Ben1980 probably just needs a power cycle. I'd get him to switch the tv off then unplug it at the wall for a minute, if he hasnt already.

@Ben1980

Is your friend's broadband actually up to the job or did he just take a punt?

Re: Sky Glass Delivered

Oh he def took a punt as was using and happy with Now up until last week.

would broadband cause the slow UI though?

Re: Sky Glass Delivered

I'm a principal software engineer and I can understand changing channels could be laggy, but it shouldn't result in a continuous slowdown of the UI.  It sounds like sky have a memory leak which should be easily patched with a software update.
