SR203 just updated to latest firmware still having DHCP issue - thought this was fixed!
Over a year ago now I first had problems when I got the new SR203 hub. When rebooting my devices would not connnect (circa 40) and even when eventually connected some would randomly drop out. After much time trying to sort and finding a very long and informative thread (which I now can't access) I found I was not alone and it was poor DHCP performance by the router. In then end I had to go back to my old er115. Which on the whole performed well.
Fast forward a year and I read the issue was fixed so I hooked up the 203 and on the first night it updated the firmware (not to the latest listed on the website but an update). Upon rebooting it failed to load plenty of smart plugs and a couple of echoe devices. Turning these of and on individually got them to connect.
this morning I woke up to find 50% of the smart plugs were not connected and when I took a look at the router it had gone to the latest firmware 5.14.2390.r. I tried rebooting same happened (even less devices connected!).
So question is what is the issue & am I alone in this? Really frustrates me that something so simple hobbles what is an otherwise good set up. TIA

@The+Pope+Man I remember that thread well. I have seen no other reports of DHCP issues from this releasecwhich has being rolled out for the last couple of weeks.
Check that no other settings have disapeared in the update such as separation of the two wifi bands. It has been known for firmware updates not to pick up all custom settings.

Hi and thank you. I have checked and it is set to "synchronise 2.4 and 5gz settings. This is as it has always been. Is this correct?

@The+Pope+Man many "smart" plugs and other IOT kit have very basic wifi chips so cannt cope with a dualband Wifi SSID so they require the two bands to be separate (ie not synchronised) and then they can connect to the 2.4Ghz band. See here for instructions on how to do that Split Sky WiFi bands

I have the same issue. My Kasa devices have become local only (i.e. will only work whilst directly connected to home WiFi). They no longer connect to Google Assistant or the Kasa network.
Sky firmware is shockingly awful they've had a spate of bad firmware releases. Sky even sent out an engineer who had no clue what he was doing.
Next move is to cancel my Sky BB.
