Can someone from Sky please tell me what the error is on my account. Thank you.  It looks okay to me:

Your non-Sport items do not appear to have any discount?  It seems you are 'out of contract' which might explain the 'error'...?  But I'd keep quiet about it 😁

Nope, still in contract until October, hence the little down arrows against Sky Signature, Multiscreen, and UHD which all have discounts.

Yep, and thats why I thought I had a chance as my account is exactly the same with the same offers. Would be interesting to know how many people received the £3 deal, or even a £10 deal.

What I would say is that you haven't got big discounts on Signature, Multiscreen or HD.

Maybe they've (or the computer) has given you the big discount on F1 (that you wouldn't otherwise have taken) in lieu of bigger discounts on the others. When your contract is up in October, wonder what impact your F1 deal will have on the negotiations.

Re: SKY F1 Offer 2021?

The price hike for F1 on top of broadband and phone is why I have just left SKY.

I am fed up of paying for channels I do not want or watch.  e.g. I only want F1 and Cricket, yet the best best is £25/m on a deal or £33.99/m out of contract.  For that I get 11 channels but I only want 2 chanels.  £25/m divided by 11 is just under £2.50/m.  How about selling the channels at £4/m each and see which ones die a death.

Imagine going to do you weekly shop and having to pay over the odds buying food you don't like just to get chocolate hobnobs!

Change your pricing SKY and stop banging on about loyalty, you don't know what it means.

Re: SKY F1 Offer 2021?

Hi all,  Update.

It seems I'm now getting F1 at £14 due to a discount carried over from my initial SKY Q bundle. No one told me this. This will last until next Feb when we have to suffer it all again!!!! Tortuous the way SKY works it seems!

Subsequent to my making a complaint (about the length of time and chopping departments when dealing with behaviour of some staff as much as the offer) I've had a call today to review my account. In progress. I pointed out £10 offer for Golf made all this particularly annoying. It was confirmed there is no £3 offer or indeed any other offer on F1 for anyone new or old until they next decide otherwise. Also a promise to look at fixing my account 'offers' page which shows no sports offer at present, even the Golf!

I'll report back if anything new but personally I've had my fill of this exercise in the semantics of what is a SKY offer!!!!!

It is crazy, I think I renegotiate with Sky more often than with any other service provider I've ever dealt with due to their pricing mentality.

I've had Sky Sports complete for just under a year at £14. I guess with the amounts people are paying for F1 as a stand alone now, I won't be getting that deal again.

I couldn't have put it better myself! It's a constant, annoying, ridiculous, time consuming pain in the butt! When I got Sky Q, I sorted a deal for 18 months, that runs out next February, although I've now been informed that my TV package will go up in price in September and I'll need to renegotiate a new deal??? Every few months it feels like I have to spend my valuable time sorting this stuff out. My broadband goes up by a massive 50% end of this month, so I've now got to sort that issue out. I'm so [removed] with the hassle

Re: SKY F1 Offer 2021?

Yep agree with that. I hate the fact that every year (now 18 months) I have to go through the pantomine of giving them my 1 month notice and waiting for a couple of weeks before they give me an anyway half decent offer on my subscription. They called my bluff one year and I left. Three months later they gave me an offer that was so good that with the account credit they gave me it worked out at about £3 a month for the year.Shame that at the end of it I had to do it all again.

Also just to update. Despite putting in a complaint about their communications and the fact that their final answer was untrue (that only one person got the £3 offer), no one from Sky has contacted me.

At least the Channel 4 coverage was pretty good and Sky themselves do a highlights shortly after the race so not even paying for anything that exclusive, just to get a few hours earlier with the bits that nothing happens..........Not really worth £18 is it

Re: SKY F1 Offer 2021?

I paid £10 a month for the season last year and it was OK, excpet for where the commentator went into annoying hyper racing-horse commentary mode for the beginning.

£10 a month is £5 a race, which is expensive but doable.

However, it's simply not worth £18/month.

@Paul+Rowlands

It is taking the mick rather, particularly when you consider our US friends get to access it for $10 a month.

Re: SKY F1 Offer 2021?

Its mad.

Over this season which is 23 races it works out at £9.39 per race! (£18 per month times 12 months divided by 23 Races).

As well you would be paying £54 for the period from Dec to March when there are no races and from experience, not a lot on the channel and cant stop because you are in an 18 month contract.

Sky are taking the #### out of UK F1 fans, but unfortunatley because quite a lot of people are happy to put up with it Sky will keep on milking it for all its worth.

Re: SKY F1 Offer 2021?

Same here. They wouldn't offer me the same 10 a month I had been paying. Therefore I let it expire and now watch channel four highlights. To be fair, I don't miss David crofts voice. Plus I like the rawness of David and Mark. Well done sky, looks like you've lost a lot of F1 fans.
