Re: Remote network problem
You were months late to the advert server conclusion to be honest but whatever makes you feel important. Bye now.

Re: Remote network problem
I and many others couldn't. I couldn't configure a vpn using NordVPN and if you look at hundreds of posts the fact we know that the advert server is the issue doesn't mean there is a fix easily available. I also got the issue using BT broadband not just 4G which causes your theory a problem.
Anyway, you're the first **bleep** I've encountered on here amongst many other great people trying to help each other, so I consider myself lucky.

Re: Remote network problem
I knew you didn't really mean it when you said 'Bye' as your speedy response proves you were missing me.
The 4G aspect of my post is factual - run a few wireshark captures if you must. As for 'your' BT issue, I'm pretty sure I didn't mention BT in any of my posts.
FYI BT Broadband is different technology to 4G (Chalk and Cheese) unless you meant 'BT 4G Home Broaband'?
I've been called many things in my life but a 'BLEEP' is a first. Guess you're a little annoyed at being called out.
Having soooo much fun - You?

Re: Remote network problem
Is there any point in saying "me too".
What's the point of having On Demand if you can't download anything.

Re: Remote network problem
I got the same problem while downloading several episodes of 2 separate series.
I checked my dusk space and although there seemed plenty of room (>5%) I decided to try deleting some older unwanted stuff.
this stopped thie issue immediately on both occasions. Possibly coincidence but I doubt it.
I suggest you try it anyway.

Re: Remote network problem
Had it happen lots today. Box has something like 15% free.
It's so intermittent and unpredictable that personally I think anyone's 'solutions' are likely to just be coincidence.

Re: Remote network problem
The one bit of consistency I've managed to achieve is to download 1 episode at a time and make sure nothing else is recording either. This is not 100% but definitely seems to improve the consistency of downloading especially a series.

Re: Remote network problem
Press and hold 7 and 9 on the remote to reset it. Watch for the red light to flash at the top. Then press and hold 1 and 3 until it says please wait on the screen. Then follow the on screen instructions to pair your remote to tv see if that helps 👍

Re: Remote network problem
I have had remote network problem come up as the reason for a failed recording - if you have the sky go app, you can find the program on there and select 'download to sky box' this normally sorts the issue out for me 👍
