Referring A Friend To Sky Tv

Hi All,

Yesterday I went and helped my dad get Sky Glass as he has been intrested in it as his mate has it.

So I went online and did the refer a friend for him.

When I went online to sky site and ordered him sky glass there was no where to enter the code we got for referring a friend.

So I rang sky up and they said you can't refer a friend for sky glass, you can only do it with Sky Q.

Surley this cant be right as even says on sky's website they only have to have a Sky TV package to be referred.

Does anyone have any light on this or had this problem.

Im not sure if you can refer someone to Sky Glass but if you can it will be tracked as you were logged not your Sky account to do this as that is how it works as there is no code involved.

@KPPCSky  This link advises they need to subscribe to a TV Package, there is nothing here to say Glass is excluded, as loing as they use the unique you sent them

@GD1 The link embedded in that page doesn't work for me, which makes me wonder. The response if you try the embedded link refers to the introduce a friend T&C, which appear to be available only on request (at least, I can't  find them elsewhere....)

@Mark39  It won't work for Oracles for obvious reasons, but should work for others?

You woukld think if Glass was excluded it would be on the page I linked to.

@Mark39 @GD1  it might be worth seeking clarification from mark in the closed area (which I'll do next) but this situation also arosed regarding switch credit and it turned out it didn't qualify for switch credit

@SKY1992bf  Refer a friend is different, but it should be clear if Glass isn't included.  But it does need clarification from Sky.

@GD1   I agree it's different but the same question that came about over switch credit (the switch credit article was updated to include the exclusion) applies to refer a friend, as I admit this is the first instance of this particular situation I've seen

edit: the question has now been asked so we'll see what happens

Re: Referring A Friend To Sky Tv

Sorry I probably didn't ask the right question.

I used the Introduce a friend link on the sky website (and the one posted above) and get a message saying that Introduce a friend isn't available for my type of account. I have been a sky customer for about 20 years and currently have sky glass, I don't have sky broadband so my question is does anybody know why introduce a friend is unavailable for me as I have introduced friends in the past, the only thing that has changed is that I now have sky glass rather than Sky q so my assumption was that introduce a friend insn't available to sky Glass customers

@KPPCSky  It does appear that Glass accounts aren't eligible, however we are still waiting confirmation from Sky.
