Recording just stop recording by themselves

Wat is up with the recording just not being there even if you have the series link on and recording other programs I didn't want recorded seen some of the answers that wer given in a similar problem had the lady turning the box on and off waiting for 30 second for an amber light then wait again for another 30 seconds only short of asking her spin around and touch the ground ridiculousness of the answer was off the scale  this is why we pay yous which isn't that cheap by the way  to provide a service not to be trained in trouble shooting my tv box this better be sorted ASAP or I'll be changing provider very bad service from what I thought was the best provider out  there debatable if you ask me.
