Mini box wont start without main box on

Hi, every morning I need to go and turn main box on in order to get my mini box in bedroom to work. Surely i shouldn't need to do that?

@Rich0909Yes that is how it works, the main box needs to be at least on standby all the time, likewise the mini box should or you will not get any updates.

Everything comes via the main box as that is the one connected to the satellite dish.
