Try connecting pc etc via wifi it should pick up the new ssid

I tried that but it only picked up the powerline adapter.

Is adapter broadcasting old ssid or asus ssid

Should I try factory reset on the router and try connecting then

I didn't look any deeper as I wanted to connect using the ethernet part.

 

Ideally thats the way you want it. No factory reset as such just reboot the router then repair the powerlines

Hello again I've gone back to using ethernet directly from router. A couple screen shots for you. Do i have to do anything in regards to security. Much appreciated.
