Try connecting pc etc via wifi it should pick up the new ssid

Is adapter broadcasting old ssid or asus ssid

Ideally thats the way you want it. No factory reset as such just reboot the router then repair the powerlines

Hello again I've gone back to using ethernet directly from router. A couple screen shots for you. Do i have to do anything in regards to security. Much appreciated.
