Hello everyone on April 13th I made an upgrade from superfast plus to gigafast, they gave me the activation date on April 14th, but it has not yet been activated, and if I go to "my orders" I see that there is a broadband order in progress, but if i see my plan it tells me i have gigafast active, both Download and Upload speed still the same as Superfastplus
500Mb down and 60/70 upload, Wi-Fi

Provisioning of the new profile shouldn't require a reboot of your equipment; but in this instance u would recommend powering down both the router and the ONT for a minute to see if this kicks things into life.

Re: Problem with Gigafast
What does My Sky say when you test your connection for download speed? WiFi from the Sky Hub isn't great and you will max it out around 500Mb. Can you test over Ethernet?

Re: Problem with Gigafast
@DanD90 best thing would be an ethernet speed test from fast.com.

I can only use via wifi, I don't understand why they said that I have a broadband order in progress, if I go to my details they said Gigafast

Re: Problem with Gigafast
Can you seperate the wifi bands to ensure your tests are done on the 5ghz band
- Log onto router and go to wifi
- Go to 5ghz band and untick synchronise 2.4ghz and 5ghz
- Go to 5ghz ssid and add -5g at the end
- Save
- Go to individual devices and assign wifi band accordingly

Re: Problem with Gigafast
The Gigafast package is designed to service a large, busy household with many simultaneous streams, downloads etc. It is not designed to push 1gbps over WiFi to a single device on a speedtest. You may not see any change to your WiFi speed at all, you'd need to use a cable.
