Offer on cinema

I received an offer today to have sky cinema free for four weeks and then for a further 6 months @£5 per month. I've added this to my account and I'm being charged £19 per month. Try and get hold of sky to speak to someone and it's just impossible.

@saucyminx  I'm afraid speaking to Sky is the only way you're going to get this resolved.

I am just another Sky customer!

Re: Offer on cinema

If I'm honest nothing is really simple with sky and would cause less hassle and stress if I didn't have it. Time to delete and leave

@saucyminx   Hi there. Where we've seen these offers before (free then discounted) exactly the same has happened but it's all been ok. It's as though only one offer can be applied at a time so initially only the free for x weeks offer is shown, then past a certain point (prob linked to billing date) the next offer of discount for y months is added. I'll feed back though as it must be really disconcerting when looking at future bills.

Re: Offer on cinema

Update - spoken to the customer and after checking the account, confirmed the offers are active on the account.

This particular offer only shows the initial 2 months free offer and once this finishes, the second part of the offer kicks in automatically.

Thanks

Re: Offer on cinema

I've had almost the same thing. @saucyminx

Took up the offer today for 4 weeks free, then 6 months @ £5 per month. Just checked my futyre bills and the first bill is correct, the 2nd bill is charging us £6.74?? and the third month is back to the original £11. Will try twitter tomorrow.

@Anita+Tamworth that's not unusual for this kind of offer. Keep an eye on your future bills and before they become due for payment, the Movies discount offer should be correctly shown. I wouldn't be concerned at this point.
