Re: New Update is now out.
Mine recognises it - initially shows "Turn" before changing to "Chernobyl" on screen, but then displays "That didn't work, please try again" 🤷♂️

Re: New Update is now out.
Anyone else having issues getting a WiFi connected puck to wake up since the latest update?
My Ethernet connected TV and Ethernet connected pucks have basically been problem free since the updates (playlist / meta data issues aside), but my WiFi one isn't happy.
Initially it was trying to hold onto a 5GHz WiFi signal with my router showing it connected with a rx rate of 0mbps - to be expected as the 5GHz in the kitchen is rubbish, however the Chromecast on the same TV and the Roku it replaced always use(d) 2.4GHz with no issues - and therefore showing it was show the No Internet Connection screen on boot - didn't seem to want to fall back to the 2.4GHz.
After setting up a dedicated 2.4GHz network SSID for it it's had no issues connecting to the internet or playing content (Netflix speed test showing 68mbps).
However it now doesn't want to wake up from standby - turn the TV on and press home on the remote - all that happens is the TV turns off with no signal (after 5 mins). A quick power cycle gets the flashing white light on the box and Sky on screen - but then reverts to no signal. Remove power for 30 seconds and plug in it boots up and is usuable until it next goes to sleep!
Tried homeplugs but any HD channel is unwatchable with those - Netflix shows about 2.6mbps - and the TPLink software showed a connection fluctuating between 2mbps and 24mbps so they aren't a viable option to WiFi.

Re: New Update is now out.
Have you tried as joe-bow suggested - make sure overnight standby is off and network standby is on? Worked for me

Re: New Update is now out.
Is anyone else having an issue with the screen keep going blue since the software update. The picture is fine, then goes blue, then the picture freezes and the sound goes off.
It was working fine yesterday, but since turning it on this morning, I'm having real problems.
I've turned the TV on and off several times. I've even turned my router on and off too see if that's the problem.
Also when I change channel it takes several seconds for the new channel to come up.
It's incredibly annoying.

Re: New Update is now out.
Mines OK
Take the main plug leave unplugged for 30mins .
Then it should sort it self out.
I have been told by sky this morning any issues relating to the software upgrade is to do the above.

Re Software update - help / advice
Hey. Here's another tip for you all.
Hope it helps !
If you get into any trouble when trying to force download software to either your Sky Glass or Sky Puck then go to link .....
https://www.sky.com/help/articles/sky-glass-software-error?DCMP=ilc-skycom:na_startuplt
And or ...
www. sky.com/startupLT
for the latest Sky Glass software release dates and info.
You will then have to go to your My Sky account and package information and pair your Sky Glass or Sky Puck with your Sky account. ( please be aware that you will loose all your saved play lists, settings and you will have to sign into any and all of your third party apps ).
- The kink is ..... you must be signed into your online account .....
https://www.sky.com/productsettings/tv/activate
And then go through your set up routine again and job done. ( I must stress you should ensure your Sky Glass / Sky Puck IS CONNECTED TO A STABLE FIXED BROUDBAND CONNECTION and you do this at your own risk. If your not " technical minded " then I advise you not to do this unless your absolutely confident. )
Hope this helps .... stay safe and Happy Holidays 😊 🎆
