Dont re apply every single custom setting you had before as its quite possibly something you are doing causing the firmware to crash. Leave it in its default settings for 24-48hours and see if it still drops

You are likely right. My thoughts its likely to be something with the custom LAN IP addressing im using
Causing some kind of memory leak perhaps and the only thing it can do is reboot it's self
That is my guess

So the router has been up for 107 hours and still going
i made two changes. I turned off sync wifi 2.4/5ghz settings. which restarted the wifi element 76h ago
then i cleared the event log.
now as i hear the event log seems a problem with some people. that it stops reprting.
the event log has stopped reporting after a while. however i have also had no router reboots since doing those two things.

the event log for me never stopped reporting. before i cleared it. it would fill up constantly with rate changes for Gfast

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Wolfey a lot of rate changes innthe log can indicate a possible line issue which are not uncommon if you have G.fast. Please post your current connection stats. The issue you read about the log having spurious entries was fixed in an earlier release.

@Chrisee Here are the stats. they are pretty decent.
Broadband Link Downstream Upstream Connection Speed 159780 kbps 30051 kbps Line Attenuation D1(36.8 dB) , D2(0.0 dB) , D3(0.0 dB) U0(0.0 dB) , U1(0.0 dB) , U2(0.0 dB) Noise Margin 12.6 dB 7.4 dB
the system log: it wont let me post parts due to saying too mant repeats and email addresses. but there are just lines and lines of rate changes
this forum really sucks for posting a system log.... that mine is full of total rubbish about rate changes every few miliseconds repeated
then it obsesses over WAN IPV6 and IP leases for a while then back to rate changes.
i would show you. but as said this forum wont let me

gives an idea

So to stop my router rebooting its self randomly. I have to keep clearing out the log.
even disabling the log. its still logging stuff in the background. because it reset again.
so again. to stop the reboots. i havew to manually press clear log. this seems to let the router operate for 100s of hours with no issue. if i stop clearing it every so often it randomly reboots
