Re: Netgear RAX40 replacing Sky Hub FTTP
Excellent choice , if i say so myself (it is the one i have) ,it supports dhcp option 61 and dhcpv6 pd. And we have been advised that it is a good idea to run both authentication methods together
Sky Stream , Sky Superfast, SR203 router, Tp link td w9970 + Asus RT AX58U (backup), Xbox Series X, google home mini, LG 55 inch uhd tv, with Dolbyvision, samsung a5 2017 and samsung s21
If I get it right mark as answered
If I get it wrong humour me
If I say something you like give a thumbs up

Re: Netgear RAX40 replacing Sky Hub FTTP
Weird. Is there no setting for DHCP-PD? See the screenshot below from my Asus router
Assuming the router is running the latest firmware?

Re: Netgear RAX40 replacing Sky Hub FTTP
Would have to recommend you post on the netgear forums to clarify if its actually supported and why IPv4 DHCP Option 61 isnt working either. Or just look at a different router

Re: Netgear RAX40 replacing Sky Hub FTTP
Just want to update this thread and thank you all for your help.
I ended up purchasing an ASUS RT-AX 58U and followed the configuration in the following thread:
Pleased to say the internet is working perfectly!!
The tplink and Netgear RAX did not work with Sky FTTP. The Asus allowed ipv6 PD and option 61 neither the Netgear or tplink allowed both concurrently.
