Thumbs up on the latest firmware release. Fixes the issues experienced with technical fault on live channels.

Received puck today and I've had two occasions when live channels fail with message "waiting for programme to load"
Turning off puck and disconnecting from mains then restarting does work but is a real pain.
is this a software problem? or is my puck defective?

It's a fault which should resolve overnight when Sky push out an update.
Thanks,

So I've got the latest update, so far no more "Program is loading" or "There's a technical fault" issue, but still getting periodic freezing of the picture from Live TV. This does not seem to be fully resolved for me at least!

Scrap that, just started with the "Program loading" message again so definitely not fixed

@PastonPassway I've not even got the update- I presume sky glass gets it

From what I've seen in other posts, Sky Glass doesn't need the update, this is specific to Sky Stream

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Staceymay88 The update is only for Stream pucks and not for Glass as the Glass TVs were not effected by the problem the update is fixing 😀 (I am also on Glass).

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@PastonPassway I don't know whether it will help with your situation or not but I always reboot my system after an update (or when I change settings).

@Fothergill1 Will give that a try, Thanks

Had the update overnight before last, and since then it seems to be ok... had a situation when the screen froze for a split second, but I'd take that over restarting the whole box each time!
hopefully future updates will resolve all the buffering challenges that people are getting as well, or at least that's what it seems with the screen freezing.

Yay. 02p arrived after two reboots this morning. Good so far.

Still no good after a reboot here, I know it's not my internet connection as well given it's a 360mbps connection, still get a lot of stuttering. Going to try another factory reset
