Is it normal for contract to be renewed when moving home

I had an existing contract for broadband, TV and phone and moved home.

My contract for TV has remained with the same start and end date but for some reason my broadband and phone contract were renewed with no explanation to myself while my package remains the same.

Is this normal? I read through my contract and it states contract should remain during a move, it doesn't mention renewals

  • Your contact should continue, I would call Sky.
Passing on the tips I have learned in over 24 years as a more than satisfied Sky customer.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more

@Phoenixeternia  Did you use the home move service for both services? If not I think that's the reason why it's a new contract

you don't need to use it for tv but you do for broadband in order to transfer everything across

@GD1  please correct me if I'm wrong
