Internet won’t stay connected

So for awhile now anytime I want to play any games online on my Xbox it will take up to 30mins of my Xbox connecting and disconnecting from the wifi every 30secs before it levels out and lets me stay connected for maybe an hour or 2 then it'll disconnect me randomly. I've port forwarded and have tried to run a cabled connecting but my room is too far away. This also happens when I'm trying to download a game. It'll start the download for maybe 10secs then it'll just disconnect. Any help on how to fix?
