For the last two weeks I've had trouble staying connected to the internet. I work from home mostly, using MS Teams, and have been kicked out of almost every video call meeting due to 'no connectivity'. I've tried resetting the router, moving it closer, but the cnnecion keeps getting interrupted, sometimes I reconnect and other times it stays off for up to 1 minute. Is there anything else I can try before I consider switching suppliers? Ive had this problem on and off for the last 12 months or so, but the last 2 weeks have been terrible

Looks like your using quite an old router which may be the cause of the dropping WiFi.
Additionally you are on ADSL broadband which isnt ideal for working from home especially when you are having realtime meetings.
Have you considered upgrading to fibre if it is available to you?

Thank you 🙂 Would getting a new router be an option which might help address the problem? Or is it not that simple...
I have considered fibre - I called Sky about this last year and they said the speed I currently have in my current set up is the best it can really be. So, I suppose I can reconsider but would like to try some more affordable options before I commit to paying more each month for my connection. Thanks for your help
