Intermittent Signal

Hi 

 

I'm experiencing an intermittent signal whilst watching ITV HD (Not channel related it seems) and the signal strength and quality bars are fluctuating every few minutes. An issue since 6:45pm tonight. Any known TV issues? 

 

Anyone else experiencing an issue tonight? Is Astra messing around with the satellite lol 😆

@Mat93  Which ITV Region?  Is this the only channel affected?

@GD1 ITV West Midlands and no I'm losing satellite signal when watching Channel 5 HD

It appears to be stable now. Last 10 minutes. Very strange 🤔 I'll post again of goes off again.

@Mat93 We were also having problems with ITV West Midlands about 10 mins ago. Lost picture and later lost sound. It was raining hard at the time so I put it down to that. We have Sky Q. Not tried other channels. Heaven forbid should I switch it over from Emmerdale.

@Mat93  Thoe 2 particular channels are on different transponders, so can rule out a transponder issue. 

 

Not seen any other posts about ITV in particular but is it possible it is linked to this especially if the issue have only started since the weekend https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-58694894

I had a satellite signal issue about that time.  I think a squall line went through the uplink site in at Chilworth that affected the signal perhaps.
